Shigeru Miyamoto produced a pikmin movie as part of a research project for the giant Japanese games company. Shigeru Miyamoto and Nobuo Kawakami, chairman of Dwango and producer-trainer at Studio Ghibli, will hold the presentation for "Pikmin Short Movies" that will be unveiled in The Tokyo International Film Festival.
The film will be a compilation of three shorts entitled, "The Night Juicer", where Captain Olimar makes his favorite juice; “Occupational Hazards,” which is an adventure at a construction site; and "Treasure In A bottle", where Pikmin meets a strange treasure.
The Tokyo International Film Festival runs at Roppongi Hills and various venues around the city Oct. 25-31.
