I haven't played the first bayonetta but this sequel is looking really great. There's a lot of added features like attack modes such as torture attack where bayonetta will summpm ancient torture devices and punish enemies, weapons, game modes and costumes from other nintendo characters like link, peach, starfox, etc. There's also a multiplayer mode called tag climax where you can use other characters from the game.
