On October 9, Japan will experience Dive In, a new streaming service that lets you play games like Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy VII International, Season of Mystery: The Cherry Blossom Murders, and more through mobile using cloud technology.
At launch, Dive In will have these following games available:
Final Fantasy XIII
•3 Days – 250 yen ($2.35 plus tax)
•10 Days – 510 yen ($4.80 plus tax)
•30 Days – 1,250 yen ($11.77plus tax)
•1 Year – 1,800 yen ($16.94 plus tax)
Final Fantasy VII International
•3 Days – 200 yen ($1.88plus tax)
•10 Days – 400 yen ($3.76 plus tax)
•30 Days – 1,000 yen ($9.41 plus tax)
•1 Year – 1,429 yen ($13.45 plus tax)
Season of Mystery: The Cherry Blossom Murders
•3 Days – 150 yen ($1.41 plus tax)
•10 Days – 300 yen ($2.82 plus tax)
•30 Days – 800 yen ($7.53 plus tax)
•1 Year – 1,185 yen ($11.15 plus tax)
There will be a 30 minute free trial for each games.
Other games like Final Fantasy VII and The Last Remnant will come in November, then, Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Murdered: Soul Suspect in December, followed by Lightning Returns: Final Fantas XIII in 2015.
Dive in will be available in supported mobile devices for Android and IOS. At least 3mbps will be required to be able to stream games.
